- US cars? In a British questionnaire thingymabob, people were asked to rate
- their cars in terms of performance, reliability and value for money.
- Japanese cars got the top 13 places I think, or most of these, oncluding the
- top 3. Very good and reliable, only a little boring. European cars and
- Asian cars came generally next, with British cars (what few there are.
- Jaguars mainly) having a good representation. The US mass market cars were
- all at the bottom, being very unreliable.
-
- I am sitting in a room with lights on a power supply of 50Hz and I do not
- notice any flicker. I only notice flicker on a screen if I look for it.
-
- And if you're going to start a "The US is great 'coz we were first with this
- and this and..." argument then I can spool you LOADS about how Britain has
- advanced the world and left everybody in our wake (only to sit by and watch
- everybody overtake, much like the Amiga really).
-
- Rule Britannia. God save the Queen.
